TBEX 2016 Stockholm – I’m Registered!

Great news everyone, I am registered on the TBEX 2016 conference, which takes place in Stockholm, Sweden. If you don’t already know what TBEX is, it’s a bloggers conference where training takes places and travel companies offer opportunities to bloggers.

TBEX is an extremely important conference in the travel blogging world. They usually offer three a year in different locations: North America, Europe and Asia. Stockholm is a great destination for the Europe conference and I am registered!

A Career Change for Teaching to Blogging

Many of you are aware that I’m making the tough decision to retire from my teaching career early, because of the negative impact it has had on my health. I will miss the kids, of course (I already do) but considering my Asthma and Cavernoma, I think that this decision is for the best.

My travel blog has kept me motivated and positive even in the tough times, and I am eager to make it work full time. Becoming a member of the Professional Travel Bloggers Association and registering for TBEX 2016 are a step in the right direction in my move towards a full time blogging career.

How you can Register for TBEX 2016

If you are a travel blogger who takes it seriously, I strongly recommend that you register for TBEX. The training and opportunities are well worth the registration fee of just $137. You can register here.

Don’t forget that if you are a member of Travel Blog Success, you get a 20% discount on your TBEX 2016 ticket. Also, prices go up after March, so be sure to book your ticket as soon as possible.

TBEX 2016 Media Opportunity for a Stockholm Hostel

I’m looking for an accommodation sponsor during my TBEX 2016 Stockholm trip. In return for accommodation in a Stockholm hostel or hotel, I am offering the following media package….

  • Full hotel or hostel review of 1000 words published on www.globetrotterguru.com.
  • A mention of your hostel on my www.globetrotterguru.com during my TBEX conference blogs and recommendation of accommodation to other TBEX attendees.
  • Tweet (to over 5000 followers), Facebook Post and Instagram images of your accommodation/city during my stay.
  • I follow/like all of your social media accounts for your hotel or hostel.
  • A link to your hostel in the ‘accommodation’ section of my blog.
  • Feature in my blog broadcast email newsletter to our subscribers.

In Stockholm, I am specifically looking for accommodation that has an exciting and friendly atmosphere and central location.  If you are interested in this media opportunity, please email amytrumpeter@hotmail.com.

I’m also looking to meet Fellow Travel Bloggers going to TBEX 2016!

I am eager to get in touch with any fellow travel bloggers who will be going to TBEX 2016 Stockholm. Perhaps we will end up on the same PreBEX trips, or maybe we could meet for a coffee or go exploring together? If this is you, please get in touch by email (amytrumpeter@hotmail.com) or Tweet me @theglobeguru!
